In a matchup of teams with nine combined wins between them entering the night, it was Rockwood that prevailed over the Cherokees in Greenback Tuesday night, 44-36.

Greenback struggled out of the gate as Rockwood opened up the game with a 9-0 lead.  The 'Keas fought back, however, as Nick Sabo and Mykal Titlow combined to cut the gap to three at 9-6.
However, Jeromy Hagermaker hit a bucket late in the first to put Rockwood ahead 11-6 after one.
Titlow scored the first two points of the second, but Rockwood reeled off eight straight after that to lead by 11.
The 'Kees again fought back, however, as Titlow, Trevor Franklin and Jordan Collis combined to cut the gap to six at halftime.

Titlow again started off the third with two points, but the Tigers again scored the next eight to lead by 12 midway throught the third.

And, yet again, the resilient 'Kees fought back.  Franklin, Titlow and Tyler Bryant combined this time to score 10 straight.  The 'Kees trailed just 29-27 after three.
The 'Kees were able to keep the game as close as five points with 24 seconds to go, but the Tigers scored three straight points to seal the win.
Titlow led the 'Kees with 21 points.

The Cherokees will travel to Tellico Plains Friday night.  Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
