Mari Patricia Gettelfinger, 44, a psychologist
for the Lenoir City school system was charged with driving under the influence after she reportedly
registered .25 on a BAC test last week, which is triple the legal limit.
According to reports, Gettelefinger of Breazeale Road in Lenoir City, was driving a Lincoln
Navigator on Adessa Parkway when she left the roadway and wrecked.
According to reports, Lt. David A. Flynn of the Lenoir City Police Department reported to
the scene and found Gettlefinger still in the driver's seat. She was described by the officer as
smelling of alcohol and slurring her speech. Gettlefinger allegedly could not perform field sobriety
tasks and was unsteady on her feet.
She submitted to a breath test at
the Loudon County Justice Center she reportedly registered a .25 percent blood alcohol level and was
arrested for DUI.
