Loudon High School graduate Travis Hart was named the District 5(2A) coach of the year by the Chattanooga Times-Free Press last week.

Hart is now the head baseball coach at McMinn Central High School and he guided his team to a 31-7 record this year.  The Chargers reached the Class 2A state tournament this season.
Hart graduated from Loudon High School in 1988.

The Chargers improved by 12 games over their 2008 record.
