The Lenoir City Lady Panther basketball team will host two basketball camps in July.
The Lady Panther Basketball Camp will be July 13-17 from 9 a.m. to noon each day.
The camp will be held in the Lenoir City High School gym.

"This is a fundamental basketball camp.  Emphasis will placed on passing, catching, footwork and shooting.  All campers will be covered by secondary insurance," according to Head Coach Joe Lee.
The camp will be for girls ages 6-13.

Cost of the camp is $80 per child, $130 for two sisters, $160 for three sisters and there is a $25 non-refundable deposit requested by July 1.

Registration at the door without a deposit will be $85 and the camp is limited to 48 campers.
The Lady Panther Advanced Basketball Camp will also be held July 13-17, also at LCHS gym.
The times of the camp will be 1 p.m. through 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
"This is an advanced basketball camp.  Emphasis will be placed on one-on-one, footwork, offensive moves and shooting.  All campers will receive a camp T-shirt.  All campers will be covered by secondary insurance," according to Lee.

The camp is open to girls ages 11-14 and players entering as freshmen into the 2009 school year are eligible for this camp.  Players should be experienced and sound in basketball fundamentals, ready for advanced training.
