E. Merle Sewell, 80, Lenoir City, passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her son, Eddie Miller; parents, George and Hasinie McKelvey; sisters, Minnie Worley, Frances Harris, Sally Smith and Ann Gee; and brother, Paul McKelvey.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Sewell; daughter and son-in-law, Jo Ann and Steve Porter of Loudon; grandchildren, Billie Jo Hamilton and Shane Porter; great grandchildren, Taylor Hamilton, Joseph Hamilton, Daniel Porter, Sky Ann Porter and Tasha Robinson; step-children, Monty Sewell and Karen Bergerman; several nieces and nephews.

The family received friends from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services followed at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Eddie Click officiating. Burial followed in the Loudon County Memorial Gardens. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements. www.clickfuneralhome.com
