Sharon Elaine Bowen, 63, of Loudon, passed away Thursday, Feb.
4, 2010 at her home. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Loudon and a retired real
estate agent. Sharon was a member of the Board of Realtors and active with Habitat for Humanity. She
was a babysitter for many of the Loudon County Sheriffs Department employees children who knew her
as "Nana."
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, James and Geneva Mullins. She is
survived by her husband, Clayton Bowen of Loudon; by her sons, Chris Bowen and wife, April and
Jerramie Bowen and wife, Julie; her daughter, Stephanie Smelcer and husband, Rusty; by her
grandchildren, Chase Bowen, Hannah Smelcer, Zane Bowen, Austin Bowen, Caleb Bowen and Blaine
Smelcer; by her sisters, Kathy Light and husband, Terry and Debbie Miller and husband, Alan; along
with many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday
followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Dale Wyrick will
be officiating. Click Funeral of Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
