Mary Hickman Abercrombie, 94, of Lenoir City passed away Friday, July 3, 2009, at the Baptist Health Care Center.

She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Lenoir City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, C. R. "Jim" Abercrombie; her parents; and by three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, C. R. "Bob" and Midge Abercrombie of Lenoir City, Don Abercrombie of Nashville and Steve and Sherry Abercrombie of Lenoir City; her grandchildren, Debbe and Mike Garrett of Knoxville, Kathy and James Lynch of Knoxville, Renee Shelton, Kim and Jeff Windham and Donnie Abercrombie of Nashville, Steven and Megan Abercrombie of Chattanooga and Kevin Abercrombie and Brent Abercrombie of Lenoir City; 13 great grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Click Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ron Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in the Lenoir City Cemetery.
