William M. (Bill) Blazier, 84, of Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009.
He was of the Baptist faith and retired from BellSouth. Bill was a decorated veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joanie Blazier; his parents, Jack and Eula Blazier; his brothers, James Edward, Leroy and Billy Joe Blazier; and by an infant sister.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Margaret E. Blazier; his daughter, Annie Campbell-Bowers and husband, Michael of Harriman; his grandchildren, Christy Wiggins and husband, Gordon and Viki Renee Neal, all of Lenoir City; one great-granddaughter, Kayla Johnson; his brother, Bobby Ray Blazier of Rockford; and by several nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Loudon County Memorial Gardens for graveside services. Military honors will be conferred by the Loudon County Honor Guard.
