Ethel Grubb Vandergriff, 81, of Lenoir City, passed away Friday, June 26, 2009.
She was a retired CPA, former employee of Neeley Produce and Knoxville News Sentinel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Wesley Vandergriff; her son, Robert "Bobby" Vandergriff; and by her parents, Joseph Lee Grubb and Lonnie Eblen Grubb.

She is survived by her son, David Vandergriff and wife of Lenoir City, Rhonda; her daughter-in-law, Phyllis Vandergriff of Lenoir City; her son, Gary L. Vandergriff of Birmingham, Ala.; her grandchildren, David Westley Vandergriff, Dana Lesley Vandergriff, David Alexander Vandergriff, Haley Vandergriff, Brandon Vandergriff, Chris Lee, Kelsey Lee, Chip Vandergriff and Chris Vandergriff; her sister, Alice Ellis of Lenoir City; and by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City.
