Alan C. Elsworth, 65, of Lenoir City, passed away suddenly Saturday, June 20, 2009.

He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed life. Alan served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam era.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Elsworth; his son, Bryan Elsworth of Syracuse; his daughter, Kimberly Ackerman of Syracuse; his step-son, Michael Barnes of Lenoir City; his step-daughters, Kimberly Webster and Margaret Heirsche, both of Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Raymond, Jennifer, Braden, Marissa, Jenna and Emmy Lou; his brother, Kevin Elsworth of Cleveland, Tenn.; and by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Click Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 4 p.m with Pastor James Kirk officiating. Military honors will be conferred by the Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to a local home hospice of your choice.
