Mark Anthony Stevens, 38, of the Garden Apartments in Loudon, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at his home.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Marsha Carmack Stevens; and by his grandparents, the Rev. Billy Carmack and John and Lola Stevens.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Straton Stevens; his son, Mark Anthony Stevens; his father and stepmother, Bobby and Faye Stevens; his grandmother, Anna Lois Johnson Carmack of Loudon; his sisters, Carrie Jo Stevens, Kimberly Pesterfield, Tiffany Barker and Heather Brantley; by his special uncle, Samy Johnson and wife, Janice; and by his special friend, Barbara Skidmore.

Memorial services will be performed Friday at 2 p.m. at the Sixth Avenue Church of God in Lenoir City. Dr. Ernie Varner and Dr. Coleman Peacock will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday prior to the services.
