John Edgar Price, 52, died unexpectedly Friday, June 12, 2009, one day short of his 53rd birthday.
He was a graduate of Lenoir City High School and E. T. S. U. John's true love was the water - lake or ocean. He was much liked and well respected by all in the boating community and recently received his Sea Captain's Commission from the U. S. Coast Guard. John was also a gifted craftsman who built and rehabilitated many homes to his exacting specifications.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Price.
He leaves behind his beloved mother, Marjorie Price; his brother, Jimmy Price and wife, Brenda; his niece, Olivia Price of Greeneville, S.C.; many friends from all walks of life, too numerous to mention; and his devoted dog and companion, K. C.
The family received friends Sunday, June 14 at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services followed with Dr. Dick DeMerchant officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Loudon County Animal Shelter, 250 Jamie Drive, Loudon, TN 37774 or to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 2085 Simpson Road East, Lenoir City, TN 37771.
